Since I've never heard of the Duco brand before, it's not a name that's going to have the name recognition of the high-end designers. But for a really nice pair of sunglasses at a good price, this is hard to beat.
I like that it has a lot of extras like a case, a cleaning cloth, and a gift-style box all in a very nice pink color that goes well for a pair of womens sunglasses. The presentation is well done and it has a high-quality feel to the whole package that is impressive.
There's a keychain included that I guess is a small toolkit for tightening up the screws at the temple of the sunglasses. It seems a little extraneous, but it's nice to have if you don't have the tiny screwdriver and the earpieces become loose.
So far, they work as expected for a pair of sunglasses. I like that they're oversized so they block out more light than other smaller glasses. They're fairly dark but they also are meant as a fashion statement and they pull it off well.
The little extra touches are what make these stand out to me over most other inexpensive sunglasses. They're a little higher priced than the bargain sunglasses that you would get at a department store kiosk with the little mirror. The included case and gift-box make this worth it in my opinion.
When it comes to sunglasses, I am usually reluctant to spend a lot of money on something that I might lose or that may break and these are a good solution for that. They're not super expensive if I were to lose them, it's not a huge loss like it would be if I bought a pair of $100+ name-brand designer glasses, but they're also stylish enough so that they look just as nice as a designer pair for a fraction of the cost.
Overall, these are a really nice pair of sunglasses for the price and unless you absolutely *must* have the name-brand glasses, you're going to save a lot of money for basically the same functionality and virtually the same looks. Solid five-stars for these.
